Abu Dhabi Airport - not the place to spend the night.

Just returned from a trip to Nepal and Tibet working on photo projects: essentially looking at how globalisation interrelates with the existing traditional culture. And in the case of Tibet how this is overlayed by the colonial policies of the Chinese occupation. Tibet is becoming fashionable now but for the inside track on what actually happens there have a look at the Free Tibet website.

Lots of work to do editing the digital images. Big equipment hit of the trip was the Nikon Coolwalker. Saved several hundred pounds using digital over film processing. Convinced the quality of the end prints is better.

Thanks to Gulf Air for the upgrade to Business Class, just a shame the flight arrived late into Heathrow so I missed my connection...
